To install this on a high chair, you need to pull the 2 side straps through the holes where your lap straps come through, put the upper straps over the back of the chair to the front and over the baby's shoulders, then string the lap straps through the shoulder straps and through the crotch strap. The crotch strap helps keep the baby in place.
